Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway 

The Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway allows our pantries and shelters to provide holiday meals to those who may not be able to afford one. In 2022, we provided more than 11,000 turkeys to low-income individuals and families for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Over the years, we’ve partnered with corporations such as the Mets Foundation, Bank of America, Gristedes and D’Agostino’s. Volunteers can support this program by packing turkeys and trimmings which are picked up and delivered to our community agencies. Sponsorships and donation opportunities are also available.
