The 13th Annual St. Francis Food Pantries and Shelters Winter Coat Drive is underway and we are eager to top last year's amount. The festively decorated donation boxes can be found in the lobbies of many companies and office buildings across New York City.

Wintertime can be extremely difficult when you are down on your luck and the holidays can make an already bad situation worse for those who are less fortunate. In our experience, we have witnessed how the basic act of providing a coat, to someone who is without one, can truly mean the world.

We hope to collect 10,000 coats for our fellow New Yorkers, with your help. Cold weather accessories including hats, gloves and scarves are also encouraged in addition to men's, women's and children's sizes.

If you would like to donate a coat but are unable to find a location, get in touch with us and we will find your nearest drop-off point. Also, you can help us to spread the word to everyone about our Winter Coat Drive by using the hashtag: #StFFPcoatdrive. Together we can ensure that this is a cozy winter for thousands of our neighbors.

Our coat donation boxes can be found in office buildings throughout NYC. Now in its 13th year our annual coat drive helps thousands of New Yorkers to stay warm.

Coats are being collected in adult and children sizes for both men and women. This year we are aiming to collect 10,000 coats-or more-in our Winter Coat Drive.

Our clients are so appreciative of the plethora of coats that are donated each year. "I love my new coat! Thank you, St. Francis Food Pantries and Shelters."

Many of the people who benefit from our coat drive are the parents of small children. Having multiple sizes arranged as a clothing store would be, is one of the ways that we are able to serve our clients with dignity.

We think that this adorable client loves her new winter vest!
Remember: Winter accessories including hats, scarves and gloves may also be donated!
With your help we can help keep our clients bundled up for the cold weather.
We are especially grateful to receive donations of children's size coats each year.
One of our pantries distributed coats to very happy clients last year.
