On Saturday, June 21st St. Francis Food Pantries and Shelters sponsored two performances of CYT NYC's newest production, Seussical Jr. at the Theatre at St. Clements.

We sent two children's groups, Figure Skating in Harlem and Dream Charter School, to the Dr. Seuss-themed shows, for a very fun-filled and whimsical day at the Theater!

The performers of CYT NYC included over 30 students from across the NYC and NJ area, who entertained the audience with their tremendous talent. Following both performances of the show each child in our StFFP groups received a "Seuss-style" lollipop as a souvenir to compete the festive day!

Corrie Cooper, Executive Director of CYT NYC, helped us to coordinate the outings for both of our groups of children. Everyone truly had a fantastic day!

Such an exciting day - we get to see Seussical Jr.! What a fantastic set, Dr. Seuss would surely approve!

Seussical-themed prizes were raffled off! It just isn't "Seussical Jr." without vibrant pops of color!

"It's almost Showtime!" Bob W. sure is having lots of fun and we can't blame him!
