We can always count on the employees of Macy's to lend a helping hand whenever, wherever, and however it is needed. Thursday, December 19, 2013 was no exception when the annual Macy's Holiday Give Back Party took place to benefit St. Francis Food Pantries and Shelters.

We invited over 200 second through fifth-graders for a festive afternoon of arts and crafts, music, singing and food. Much to the children's delight, there was even a visit from two surprise guests who traveled all the way from the "North Pole!"

Everyone there happened to be on the "nice list," so each child got to take a photo with Santa and Mrs. Claus and even tell them what they wanted for Christmas! It didn't stop there though, all of the children received a special toy complements of Macy's to remember the jovial day. Thank you to Tara Troy of Macy's for helping us to coordinate this fun holiday afternoon.

Now this is what we call a "Teddy Takeover!" Cheerful welcomes from the Macy's volunteers.

Temporary tattoos and holiday cheer. Very impressive snowman creativity!

These young ladies showed off their snowmen crafts too. A Macy's volunteer (with reindeer ears) chats with some of the kids.

Peace, Love and Chicken Tenders. "This is the BEST time of the year!"

The smiles on these children's faces say it all. Santa and Mrs. Claus were a hit!
Just, adorable!
