Over 100 volunteers from Colgate-Palmolive partnered with NYC Service, The Mayor's Office to prepare thousands of personal care kits to benefit our clients. Included in these kits were basic, but vital, items which included: shampoo, deodorant, a toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, tissue and more. All of the contents were donated by Colgate-Palmolive.

The eager volunteers were divided into teams based on the shelter or pantry that their boxes were going to, and a little bit of friendly competition even ensued! ...The result? After 8 hours, and an impressive display of teamwork, these extraordinary volunteers had packaged a whopping 5,000 kits that we distributed to 5,000 families in the St. Francis Food Pantries and Shelters network.

A special thank you to Wendy Dessy from NYC Service, The Mayor's Office and Sally Phipps from Colgate-Palmolive who helped to coordinate this massive operation! We truly appreciate everyone who gave their time on this frigid New York day!

"I love giving back, especially this time of year." Hundreds of bars of deodorant that will be packaged.

Teamwork and smiles. A quick photo before getting back to business.

Victory is near! Clean up is important too (the Rockettes rehearse here!)
